I love fountain pens but am very fussy about the nib size; I like to write with a generously flowing medium nib, which limits my choices. (Most medium nibs feel too thin and scratchy to me). Also, because I carry my pen(s) around with me at all times, I have a terrible habit of losing the most expensive and precious ones! So although I've had beloved Mont Blanc and Waterman pens in the past, at the moment I'm using Lamy pens: a purple one with purple ink, a blue one with blue ink, and I'm contemplating buying a green one for green ink. (The next step will be to experiment with using different colours for different kinds of writing). Lamy pens aren't too terribly expensive, so I've lost a couple of them while travelling but was able to replace them almost immediately; plus, the nib is replaceable, so I can order the size I like! How about you, Carolyn, what do you write with?
